Our History

The marina was built in 1964, a dream come true for entrepreneur Walter E. Schott. Three years later, boaters interested in organizing a social club circulated flyers to recruit membership.

The Four Seasons Marina Yacht Club started operations as a social club on February 5, 1968 with Captain Sam Barrometti as Commodore. Two years later the Board of Directors dropped the word Marina and became the Four Seasons Yacht Club (FSYC) as it is known today. While FSYC is housed at the Four Seasons Marina, it is a separate entity.

FSYC first registered with the Yachting Club of America in 1993, and shares reciprocity with hundreds of yacht and sailing clubs across America.  The club is a member in good standing of the Yachting Club of America.  For a list of reciprocating clubs please click the previous link.
