Betty Shrout’s Cheese Potatoes


8 medium potatoes
1 cup mayonnaise
1 lb. box Velvetta cheese
3 tbl. butter
1 medium onion
1/2 cup chopped green olives
1/2 lb. bacon fried crisp to crumble

Cook potatoes until tender, then peel and cut into cubes
Add onion, mayonnaise and cubed Velvetta
Melt butter and drizzle over mixture in a greased casserole
Add chopped olives and bacon on top
Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour
