Four Seasons Yacht Club is is a social organiztion co-located with Four Seasons Marina in Cincinnati, Ohio. Four Seasons Marina, one of America’s premiere inland waterway marinas, provides boaters with everything they need to enjoy life on the river. Located in a sheltered inland harbor, the marina accommodates over 400 boats of all sizes. Marine services include a ship’s store, covered slips, fuel dock, private showers, laundry room, dockside electric, water, and WiFI.
Four Seasons Marina members enjoy amenities, which include great casual dining on the water at Pirates Cove Tropical Bar and Grill, Yesterday’s at Four Seasons Restaurant, and up on the hill at The Sand Bar with the new private swimming pool. There is volleyball, and a driving range that is open to the public.
The marina was built in 1964, a dream come true for entrepreneur Walter E. Schott. Three years later, boaters interested in organizing a social club circulated flyers to recruit membership.
The Four Seasons Marina Yacht Club started operations as a social club on February 5, 1968 with Captain Sam Barrometti as Commodore. Two years later the Board of Directors dropped the word Marina and became the Four Seasons Yacht Club (FSYC) as it is known today. While FSYC is housed at the Four Seasons Marina, it is a separate entity.
FSYC first registered with the Yachting Club of America in 1993, and shares reciprocity with hundreds of yacht and sailing clubs across America. The club is a member in good standing of the Yachting Club of America. For a list of reciprocating clubs please click the previous link.
