Club oversite, participation, planning. Support on-shore event hosts with their events. Prepare draft of up-coming year social schedule for presentation to the Bridge/Board of Directors by the end of the December annually. Candidates for incoming Rear Commodore and Fleet Captain positions to be invited to on-shore and off-shore planning meetings.
Health and Welfare Committee and Club Historian
Monitor club member health and welfare issues and respond on behalf of the club with appropriate correspondence.

Maintain up to date roll of all club members. Process membership roster in accordance with by-laws. Publish annual membership roster and member cards. Maintain member badges in clubhouse. Manage efforts of Membership Committee participants.
Communications and Education Committees
Communications Committee Duties:
Keep members informed of club activities and business as directed by the Board of Directors, Bridge Officers and Event hosts. Communications methods to be used include club website, emails, postal mailings, information boards, posters and flyers. Manage club web site and email client.
Education Committee Duties:
Manage hosting relationship with course providers for Captains Classes and upgrades. Manage educational class schedule and instruction during season, Plan and direct annual Vessel Safety Check and Fire Extinguisher Inspection event. Work with Women in Boating class host assisting in event logistics and class schedule. Promote club involvement in Community Service, Environmental Issues and Charitable causes.
Maintain clubhouse supplies, snacks, and beverages. Appointed by vice-commodore.
Publish club newsletter from photos and articles provided by Bridge Officers, Dock Captains, and Event Hosts. Solicit advertisers for the newsletter.
