 FSYC - Clubhouse Use Guidelines

These guidelines are intended to benefit the entire membership of the Four Seasons Yacht Club by promoting the use of the clubhouse in a consistent, safe and responsible manner.

1.
The chairperson of the clubhouse committee will be the Vice Commodore or other active member chosen by the Board of Trustees. The chairperson will be responsible for the maintenance of the clubhouse.

2.
Donated or loaned items such as decorations, furniture, appliances, and equipment to be placed in the clubhouse must have prior approval by the clubhouse chairperson. Such items shall be available for use and enjoyment by club members and guests. The club shall not be responsible for loss or damage to items left in the clubhouse.

3.
Smoking is restricted to outdoor locations and is not permitted inside the clubhouse.

4.
Clubhouse activities are subject to the rules and regulations published in the Four Seasons Marina Handbook.

5.
An active club member must be in charge of any event held in the clubhouse. This member will have the responsibility of decorating, stocking supplies, and preparing the clubhouse for the event. After the event, the member in charge will be responsible for cleaning up, removing trash and securing the clubhouse. Any damage or other problems arising from the event must be reported to a Bridge Officer as soon as possible.

6.
Any event held in the clubhouse must be open to the entire FSYC membership and their guest’s. The clubhouse is not available for private events that exclude FSYC members or their guests.

7.
The Bridge will determine if the club is to provide beverages or other consumables for club sponsored events. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed but shall not be sold on the premises.

8.
Any event planned for the clubhouse must have prior approval by a majority of the Bridge Officers. The Bridge Officers may request certain conditions be met. The Bridge Officers reserve the right to withdraw approval for an event if circumstances warrant.

9.
Clubhouse events may be sponsored by either the club social committee or by individual club members. Events sponsored by individual club members should be submitted to a Bridge Officer on the attached event proposal form.
